Where Has Aspen Been?

Good lord things are finally starting to settle some. FEMA never did get back to us on anything after denying us the first time, our insurance is suddenly turning a blind eye to us and no longer plans to help us since we couldn't get our apartment complex to work with us, and the apartment complex is now trying to accuse us of causing the damages to the apartment. Not sure how we could have had a tree crash through our roof on purpose, but... sure.We were able to secure a home, and I found a temporary job for the holiday season. However, I'm still in need of help. While I remain searching for jobs, I've yet to hear back from the 30+ some odd jobs I've applied to in the last month and a half. Even "urgently hiring" companies don't seem to want to return calls or emails. The temporary job I have will only keep me on until January 10th, and is keeping me below part time hours.My PWYW and regular commissions are still up and running, as well as old character designs available for sale. Even if all you're able to do is share my information with others or repost my posts, I will be forever grateful. I know times are rough for everyone right now in this economy but it does mean a lot to me to be shown y'all care. ;;__;;<3I sincerely hope I'm able to do something here soon. You may have heard of the hurricanes that ripped through the east coast of the United States last month, and if you’ve been following me, you know I was heavily impacted by them in both loss of income, and housing.Unfortunately for myself and my family, our home became unlivable after damage came to our building that caused immense flooding inside of our home and black mold and other residue to grow. The ceiling had partially collapsed, and there was cracking through a lot of the foundation. Because of this, we had to move, and unfortunately our apartment complex and FEMA have both been entirely unhelpful. Our apartment complex kept stating there was no damage done, while our insurance urged us to get out of there as they deemed it highly dangerous, and FEMA… well, FEMA still hasn’t made their way out to our apartment over a month later and continues to be incredibly difficult to work with. We exhausted all of our resources and our options trying to find somewhere else to be, but unfortunately no matter what, we were going to have to spend far more than we had. As a result, we looked into moving back home, where it’s familiar and where we can get back on our feet.We moved back to Montana from Florida and are now trying to get back on our feet, however the job market sucks as bad as when I initially left for this exact reason. But we need a home, winter is quickly approaching and I’m currently in an unheated camper in the back of a family friend’s yard. We finally have enough of a deposit to get into a new place, however I am now in need of any sort of income.I am offering commissions again on VGen. Right now, I’m doing commissions off of my iPad, but when I’m able to have a place to set up my computer, I’ll be able to offer more services with a quicker turn-around time. I’m offering a Pay What You Want style of commission where you pay any sort of amount, and I’ll match the service!
